    7mag reload question

Ok guys, going to start loading some 168gr. SMKs for my new gun soon. Question is, can I load 175-180grs and still work in my magazine? I would like to go up in weight for the better BC, but I still want them to work in my magazine.

sure you seat them to fit the mag, not to the lands of the barrel.

Is it a guarantee if I seat them to touch the lands will they be too long for my magazine?

You can pretty much bet if seated to the lands, the length will be too long for the magazine. Check your max length to the lands with the bullets you want to use then see if they will fit your magazine, if not, you'll have to reseat the bullets until they will enter the mag. That will end up being the jump your bullet will have to make to the lands. Jump isn't always bad.
