    Bolt head change = firing change?


    Ok If I change from a 308 bolt face to 223 bolt face am I going to have change firing pins
    and yes I looking for a 223 bolt face that will work on a Striker OEM is ok if someone has one

    Depends in the diameter of the firing pin. If the parts are more recent manufacture, no. You should verify and if needed reset/adjust the firing pin protrusion to .035"-.044". My preference is to only adjust the firing pin stop when doing this. Any other adjustment on the other end is not recommended or needed.
    The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
