    Newbie--Brand new out of the box 110 tactical .308 Can't get the bolt in??


    It's like the round button on the bolt is forward and i can't get it to move into position...Please help

    Yes, having a thick, heavy wood bench is a good thing to have to manually set the firing pin by pushing the cocking piece pin(round button) against. I still remember figuring that out for the first time.

    Oak top work table was out in the shop...used the wife's cutting board...lol

    My method, remove the BAS completely, the put it back in with only 2 turns, now most likely you can set the cocking pin with your thumb (or very light pressure with the door jamb or bench top). Tighten the BAS, done deal.
