Factory ammo for the savage stealth evolution in 6.5 creedmoor.

I just got the rifle two days ago.Went to range with some Hornady Black in 140 grain BTHP.Groups at 100 meters where ok.Could have been better.I don't call 0.250 that great.Broke the barrel in first. Then shoot for groups. Then shoot groups at 200 meters.Shoot three groups in five shoot groups.Got better at the end of the 100 rounds. My groups where 0.625 = 5/8".Now take the diameter of the bullet 0.264 and - 0.625 and I get a group center to center 0.360.Now I think that's better. If there is a better ammo please let me know.I well be reloading for this rifle.Going to try H4350 and H4895.Thank you your help.

Wait... I’m confused. You DON’T find .250” ground “all that great”?? Even though that’s less than 1/4MOA, being that you were at 100 METERS, which of course you know is just over 109 yards. But then, low & behold... after some barrel break in, you were achieving .360” groups.....at 200 METERS! (Approaching 219yards)....with FACTORY ammunition, Hornady at that. WOW! Very impressive.

Well, I for one, find groups LESS than 1/4moa (from a new rifle, before break in)to be, in fact quite “great”. Let alone .360” at 200meters! But then, I am a mere mortal. And not even simply ONE group here, as you clearly listed it as your “groups”. Thank you so very much for sharing with us what would amount to be in essence, groups of less than 1/8” MOA! WOW-WEE! And again, WITH factory Hornady ammunition... shooting up hill BOTH WAYS, in the snow! Man!

I think we are in for some more treats like this, huh? I can hardly wait.

Just don't know where to start !! Maybe off on your decimal point.
Other then that, get a box of Hornady ELDM 140's and test those.
And skip the H4895 and get Reloder 16.

Post pictures of the groups, or they didn't happen.

I have yet to see a rifle that wouldn't shoot the 140 ELD Match.
They shoot under 1/2 moa 3/4 of the time out of my LRP.

Test the 140 and 147 Eld-M; in terms of powder H4350, IMR4451 ,Reloader 16 and Reloader 17 have all given me 1/2 MOA or better with no effort.
    Good luck.
