I love my 22s my MKII and III Ruger's are great Target pistols.reading about all the extra stuff you can buy for them is amazing. The 64 is all steel and after you break them in and you got too shoot the heck out of one to break it in. They will amaze you they did me. It's simple shoot Target ammo and they will out shoot most 10/22s tricked out or not. Same with the MKII bolt action Savage. Looking at a Ruger 10/22 today to resell looks like a good deal. For someone

When you say "shoot the heck out of them to break them in" How many rounds are we talking? I just recently pulled one out of 20+ year hibernation. It's build date is 1982 (I think) I probably didn't run 200 rounds through it when I bought it to clear some muskrats out of my pond. Since digging it out and cleaning it up, I've probably ran another 500 rounds though it.

It never occurred to me that the gun might just now be getting broke in.
