They all have the same case base to datum distance so they all use the same headspace gages. The differences are in the throat.
....and you really only need a GO gage
Short version of back story - took a bubba'd gun on trade as a project with a trash barrel. Savage Axis 223. I have a replacement takeoff barrel coming, and have the tools to do this install. What I'm assuming I need is the go/no go gauge for 223. However, if I were to use a 223 wylde go/no go, would it give me the ability to use 5.56, or would the chamber need to be cut with that reamer as well? Might be a dumb question, but just had the idea and wanted to see if it was possible.

Why don't you get a no go for the chamber you have.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
I usually get both the go/no go gages.
As mentioned, the Wylde should be the same gages, the difference is the throat, allowing you to shoot 5.56 NATO cartridges without over pressure issues.
At4rxj,
I tried to send you a PM, and respond to your wanted thread.
When i'm doing a rifle that the gages are going to be one use, i rent them from 4D Reamer Rental.
I've used them several times, including reamers, and been very happy with them!
Thanks for all the help!
