I think I screwed up on my chassis purchases

I have a savage LA that I bought a MDT HS3 LA chassis to use. Then came across a 110BA 300WM factory chassis. I figured what the heck and bought it. However, the magazine opening on the 110BA chassis is bigger than on the HS3 and when I put the rifle in the 110BA chassis the 300wm magazine is hitting on the bottom of the receiver.

Was that chassis for a 338 lapua?

Not sure if it is the same issue, or even related, but I had to mod some mags when I converted a rifle to DBM. The mags were hitting a nub on the bottom of the receiver.

Just for giggles, Who makes the OEM mags for the 300 Win Mag BA?

I might be wrong here, but I believe that it is Accurate Mag that makes the OEM mag.

How old is the rifle? Is it a stagger feed? I had to mill a receiver from an older stagger feed because the magazine wouldn't fit a chassis rifle. I think we took about 3/8" off the back of the magazine opening and the mag would clear no problem.
