    Lightweight hunting stock?

I see lots of lightweight hunting stocks for Remingtons but none for Savage. What is the lightest decent stock made for Savage?

a lot of people like the Duramaxx but don't know if it'll fit your app.

Depends on what you consider light. Your looking around 40oz for some of the cheaper synthetics like the Duramaxx. A quality lightweight that goes in the 12 to 20oz range will cost you around $600 from Lonewolf or Manners. Then again getting them to do one for a Savage is another problem. Some of Kevin Rayhill's over at Stockade models are not quite in the 12oz range but come in under 30 for a reasonable price.
