Boyd's At One for Savage FV-SR....... What else do i need?

Hey all, I'm Koop and brand new to the forum! Been shooting/hunting for a long time, but I'm getting back in to rimfire........last time was the boy scout years. Picked up a FV-SR with the full intention of swapping out the stock. Looking at a Boyd's At One. I'm just wondering what else I need to pick up to put the whole package together. I know I need a guard, but I'm a little mixed up on screws. Any and all help is much appreciated! Looking forward to digging in to this knowledge base. Thanks!

Check out DIP for Mark II parts and accessories - https://www.diproductsinc.com/

You will want the thicker bottom metal and aluminum trigger guard.

    That's what you want.

Before you order those, check that Boyds doesn't have an option to add those pieces at a discounted price when purchasing a stock.

Not sure if that's the case, but I would check.

These are what I found on Boyd's. Trigger guard and plate look right (assuming it's the thicker one), but I'm not totally sure on the screws.

Pretty sure those are DIP parts.

Is there a price difference? Might be less if you figure those can be shipped with the stock instead of separately.

Images look the same haha. Yea everything from DIP including shipping is about $50, whereas getting it from Boyd's is about $26. Figure I'll package it all from Boyd's and if the screws are off, well I'll just cross that bridge when and if I get there.

Oh and while we're on the topic, any thoughts on these add-ons?

Just figure if they're generally liked by the community it might be worth throwing them in on the same shipping charge.

You may like to have those as well.

I was considering an At-One stock for my Mark II, but decided I wanted something similar to the HS Precision stock on my Model 10, so i went with the Pro Varmint.

Had I gone with the At-One I would have bought those add-ons.

Good to know. I placed the order a couple hours ago and included the grip, but not the forend. Not planning on any competition just yet, so figure at the range I'll be on a bipod most of the time. Longest at our club is only 200yds so should be a fun challenge. Thanks for the help btw, and I'll get some pics up when everything comes in!

Like to see it when it's all together.

This is my Mark II with the Pro Varmint stock and 10x SWFA scope, in the front -

Love it!! I waffled back and forth between the Pro and the At One. Trained on the M40A5 back in the day, so I was drawn to the Pro Varmint, but I'm one of those guys that's nit picky about fit but wanted to step out of what I know, so figured I'd start with the At One this time around.

Seriously, thanks for the replies. Looking forward to the build and what's to come.

Stock came in! Absolutely love it, and waaaaay better than the original one. FYI for anyone else getting an At-One from Boyd's all you need to order in addition to the stock is the trigger guard and bottom metal kit from them. Original action screws from the FV-SR work just fine with that kit.

Oh and I definitely recommend the overmolded target grip. More vertical and it really was the finishing piece. I skipped the forend upgrade because this will mostly be a bench gun, but even shouldered this is a really comfy setup. The added weight to the back of the stock really balances the whole thing out, so hunting won't be an issue at all!

Beautiful gun....Can't wait to get to the range!
