    Shank Size Question

I apologize if this is a stupid question. I want to change the barrel on my Savage 110 30-06 to a varmint contour. Would I need a small or large shank?

You can check the FAQ's on the home page to learn how to identify small and large shank barrels/actions. The type of barrel nut is an identifier, and you can measure the barrel in just in front of the nut/threads. Calling Savage Customer service is also an option, but in this case, @35whelenshooter has already answered.

    Good shooting.
Banning a gun will not solve what is a mental health crisis inflamed by incendiary rhetoric on social and television media. The first amendment in this case is less precious and more likely the causal factor than the second amendment.
