Changing the mag. box

I have an "old" style 10 with a mag box that needs replacing. Any tricks to getting the new one in the slots on the action?

Lock the receiver in a vice. Set the rear tab of the mag in the receiver and then take a large flat screwdriver and place it in the corner of the mag formed at the junction of the front tab and the mag body and hold it at about a 45 degree angle while you give it a solid whack with a large hammer. It will pop right in.

With the recoil lug and barrel on, I take a small ball peen hammer that will fit between the mag box and the recoil lug. I then lay it in there and take a big screw driver and put it between the hammer, and tab on the box, and it comes out very easy.
