Anyone know of an aftermarket 27 Nosler barrel for Savage? I’ve got a .270 that just might transform into a 27 Nosler before next deer season.
also, could I use my .270’s bolt face, or would I have to switch it to a magnum?
You would have to use a magnum bolt face and depending on if you have a blind mag or dbm you will have to aquire the right magazine or do some tweaking to make it feed.
As far as a barrel I would reach out to barrel brothers. The are a advertiser here and use Wilson blanks. They do great work and I'm extremely pleased with mine, especially for a hunting rifle.
Xcaliber is having a 25% off sale and they list 26/28 Nosler...might try calling them and see if they can do a 27 as well.
