Looking for some help with a Model 1922 I just got.

Does anyone know what the screw size/pitch of the mounting holes on top of the receiver are? Found it. They are #10-36 and #5x48.. Not going to get those at the hardware store...

Neat little rifle, just needs some TLC. I was drawn to the continuous action/barrel when I saw it in a little gun shop. It had been sitting awhile and when I asked to see it I also got a price offer I couldn't refuse. Has a perfect looking bore and from first few shots of the "smoke" test, seems accurate enough for soda cans at 50 yards.

Any other random info or thoughts on these rifles appreciated.

I recently picked up a target 1919 from about the same time period, judging by the narrow ejection port. The only things I would recommend are use standard velocity ammo and use the magazine button to push the magazine forward against the spring pressure when installing/removing. It seems many of these mags have had the fin on the back worn down by jerking them out. That will make them slip when stripping a round off, and those little darlings are expensive to replace.
