    Striker help

I'm showing my ignorance, but I have a new to me Savage Striker and can't figure out how to get the stock separated from the metal. Any help would be appreciated.

After removing the action screws give the barrel a rap on the end to make the tang pop up then just lift out. If that doesn't work it may have been glued in for bedding purposes in which case you will need to put an clothes iron on the action to soften the glue/bedding then lift off.

I can only find the forward screw. Do I need to pop off the grip base to get at the other screw?
