    Hello from SC


    I am not a stranger to Savage rifles, had a model 170 30-30 Pump with the deer engraving on the receiver. I refinished the stock and touched up the bluing. I had taken several whitetail deer in PA. with that rifle and liked shooting it (except for the atrocious trigger pull). Before moving to the Upstate of South Carolina I gave it to one of my sons.

    I just purchased an older (5 digit serial number) 110L in 270 WIN and a 340 (actually a Coast to Coast 843) in 30-30, so hope to get back into the Savage rifle line again.
