Will this be compatible with the Savage 11 DOA Hunter XP 308 and/or Savage 10T Tactical 308?

At 3.3 pounds it's going to be heavy for a hunting rifle.

It should fit. It does not mention the top or bottom release issue. It does show a top release in the photo.

Might be worth the time to send an email.

I sent one asking this. Got a Precision Carbine that needs one.

As I mentioned in my article, it doesn't appear the new Magpul stock will be compatible with bottom bolt release models. All their photo's and the video show TBR models, and I see no way for their mag well hardware to incorporate a bottom release lever or button. It's possible they did a pin hole like some of the chassis manufacturers did where you can use a paperclip to move the sear out of the way, but until one actually gets their hands on one or I hear something back from Magpul stating otherwise I'm assuming they did not.

From magpuls Facebook page: "It is compatible with both side bolt release and bottom bolt release."

    Looks pretty nice.
Now if they would just make a 223 aics style mag to fit it.

They are releasing a 5.56 AICS mag too, is this what you are looking for?
