    45-70 ?

    Hello,
Did Savage ever make a rifle chambered in 45-70 ?
Can't remember the number of the break open single shot they made, maybe in that ?
    Just curious
    Thanks in advance

Sooooo, maybe I should have put this in the vintage Savage Steven's Fox forum, now that my coffee is working ?
How do we do that ?

I thought about doing a 45 raptor or Dropbear in a model 10 for a while
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.

I've never seen or heard of anything from Savage in .45-70. The biggest centerfire round Savage ever offered in the Model 219 break-action was .30-30 Win. The biggest centerfire cartridge in the Model 24's was the .30-30 and .357 Mag.
