Lightweight/Hunting/Scout/Truck Type Rifle

I wanted to come up with a lightweight rifle for multi purposes. Older plus 70 years guy here and wanted something easy to pack around and handle. Chances are it will get hauled around a lot with possible rough use. Most shooting would be 200 yards or less.

Managed to come across a 10 BA Stealth action, 20 inch barrel and trigger. With some good info from folks on this forum I gathered up the stock and other parts. 10FP-SR-LE, 308 stock, blind magazine, metal trigger guard and new shorter action screws. I did not want to spend a lot on the rifle (under $400). Used the 0 MOA original rail and a older 2X42 red dot. Assembled and shot some 168 SMK's at 125 yards and got just over MOA. Weighs in loaded at 7 pounds and 13 ounces. May need some final tweaking but satisfied so far. The rifle is (except for the 2 inch shorter fluted, threaded Stealth barrel) quite similar to the early out of production 10FP-SR-LE. Just somewhat lighter in weight.
