.243 brass scarred and won't extract after firing??

Update 1-20-20: Spoke to Savage, they want the rifle. Boxing up and sending in. It is 6 months out of warranty but being never fired (nor rusted, etc.) they want to see it & possibly replace. Yes if it were a burr sticking up, it would be easier to fix. this is a deep machining scar of some kind. Anyway, thanks for all the responses. I'll keep you posted

Do you have any new info like an update on your issue? I have followed this thread and am curious as to what they will do. I had the same issue with my Axis (brass hard to extract) but mine was a rough chamber and not a depression. I fixed it by chucking a mop in my drill with a little polishing compound on it.
