    Model 93 Light Primer Strikes

Have a new, stronger firing pin spring on order from Idaho, through eBay. Hope it works! I struck the same CCI case with my 93 and my Ruger 77/22, and the Ruger leaves a dent about twice as deep. Have a pic, on my phone, but can't figure out how to attach. Still, the 93 was firing the CCI's, 10 in a row, with no misfires, after I polished the end of the firing pin and cleaned the bolt. But it had been misfiring about 20% with the CCI's and about 50% with the Winchesters. I just want to be sure it even shoots Win Super X reliably.

If you didn't disassemble the bolt, do that to clean it.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.

Got my new spring in today, am a little disappointed because it is about 3/16" shorter than the original. It is slightly thicker wire, and puts a decent ding in an empty case, slightly more than original spring. Haven't range tested it yet. Will update.
