    Oryx Chassis 12VLP Fly Over


    I replaced the laminated stock on my Savage 12VLP with a new Oryx Chassis. Here's a flyover:

    That looks great. I love my Oryx.

    What did you do to the cheek rest adjustment screws if you don't mind me asking? The adjustment of that is my one pet peeve with this chassis.

    Replaced them with camera quick adjustment thumb screws.

    pdufreen, Since you have an aftermarket recoil lug, check to see if it is bottoming out in the chassis and holding the action off the bedding block..

    It's a factory recoil lug. There is about 3/32" gap before the recoil lug would bottom out on the chassis. Although it doesn't look like it in the video, There is 100% contact between the chassis and the action itself from the safety to the recoil lug.
