Hey guys. I have an older Mark II BTV, Lakefield model made in Canada. My receiver is grooved. Do any of you have any experience mounting a Sightron SII, MODEL S 30156, with a 42mm Obective lens onto this rifle?

I recently bought 2 Weaver base plates for the rifle, to be installed after the receiver has been drilled and tapped.

I have a new scope on the way. A Sightron - SII 36x42 BRD .125 MOA - Dot (.125), MODEL S 30156. The scope has a 42mm objective lens. I previously had a Leupold 4.5-14X40 on the rifle, and used Leupold low dovetail rings that slid directly onto the grooved receiver. I had about 3 business cards of clearance between the objective lens and the top of the barrel. I'm wondering what scope ring height I'll need for the Sightron SII?

I just thought someone might have already done this. – Thanks.
