    22mag/20ga

My neighbor is walking up the mountain just now to deer hunt. He found three .22mag/20ga Savages for a grand for sale locally. Is this priced right? Don't know their conditions. He and I would keep one each and give or sell the other. That was one of my favorite guns 60 years ago.

I'm sure there are more modern accurate guns, but always liked the idea of a double tube. My favorite modern .22mag is my CZ semi auto. It spits ammo out in a small pattern at 100yrds.

$333.33 (ea) is a good price (in good shape). Mine is a 22/410, so I keep an eye on Model 24s. I think the 22 Mag/20 is a better combination.

Had one long ago. It actually is a good niche rifle/gun for certain things (bunnies and squirrel, for example) but I traded it off - as I did a LOT of firearms.

I’ve only recently acquired a 22 mag (Winchester 255), after realizing that I couldn’t live without one. Very useful for varmints in that 5 - 20 lb range.

My favorite carry rifle on the farm and in the truck is a .22mag CZ512 with two extra mags. And it shoots. I tried the .221 fireball CZ but in a pinch, can't buy ammo at sporting good stores. Back to .223 on the striker pistol.

I always liked the idea of a 24 model combo gun. Seemed a bit pricey, but I'm not a gun trader.
