    model 12 lrp saftey , how does it assemble?


    HI,
    new here with an LRP in 260. took the trigger off to get a brake fitted and took saftey off last. i cannot get it back together. i seems 2 piece, tear drop thumb pad and the saftey that sides am i missing some thing, help.....

    The thumb pad goes in first. You must line up the square pocket on the underside with the enlarged area of the safety slot. The safety bar is now inserted with the "T" shape down into the pocket, essentially connecting the 2 together. Then you slide it ahead, and it will hold it in place while you add the trigger bracket.

    thanks, but the thumb pad just falls out? i have 2 parts, am i missing something? out of rifle it does hold together.

    Look close... the thumb pad rides in a shallow dovetail.
