    Hello from Cincinnati


    Just joined this past weekend. Bought a savage model 110 storm chambered in 243 Winchester. Shot it on Sunday. Accuracy was about 8 moa with Winchester 100 gr soft point ammo. Accuracy dropped to 1-1.5 moa with Winchester 58 gr bullets. Took it home and cleaned it. That is when I noticed problems with the rifling. Time to decide if I should sell it for a loss, rebarrel it, or send it back to savage. Should have never left the factory.

    Finally had time to get back out. 75 gr V-max shoot about MOA, as does 87 gr V-max. Heavier bullets open up to about 6 MOA. Lovely. Need to have barrel heavily fouled to get decent accuracy at lower weights. Thanks to those who welcomed me!
