    A .410 in a 99 ?


    Found this tonite while checking local news. I had never heard of this - is it for real or something custom made ?

    Yup! Made from 1922-1934. Was an option for the .300 takedown models, but using as a shotgun it was single shot only! Usually came as a boxed set with both barrels.

    I'll be darned, I never knew that. Savage had some pretty cool stuff going on over the years.

    In 1934 it sold for $84!!
