How well does your Axis shoot?

Mine... 22-250 Axis in a Boyd's At-One thumbhole stock with an Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50.

Is a laser shooting 1/2 moa @ 100 yards... dot is 1/2 inch diameter

    and near 1/4 moa @ 200 yards...dot is 1/2 inch diameter.

I am shooting handloads consisting of Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmint bullets .04 off lands over 38 grains of H380 in Remington brass with CCI large rifle primers.

Post up what you got and what ammo you are using.

Nice shootin. My HB .223 shoots similar with 52 and 69gr SMK's. Might have to try those 77's.

Yep, I love the 77's. Just for grins I shot an 18" group at 1000yd.

And just an FYI, even the cheap Hornady 55gn FMJBT bullets shoot slightly less than MOA out to 300yd. I use them when I am shooting at fun targets.

That and the 55 gr Hornady SP are the only 2 that I found so far are inconsistent in mine. Did you chrony that Varget/77smk load? CoAL?

No, estimated around 2700fps. 2.28oal (.020" from lands). It has close to 2500 rounds through the bore. And I seat the 55gn out at 2.27".

My 243 shoots great when the firing pin decides to ignite the primer. One shot is a light primer strike and then the next two will fire and have pierced primers. My inclination is to wrap this thing around the oak in my back yard but I will restrain my self and send the bolt back to Savage to be looked at.
