Boyds wood for Mark II FVT?

Looking at a Boyds wood stock for my Mark II FVT. Do they require much (if any) real fitting as ideally I’d simply like to drop the barreled-action right in? Thanks in advance

They are intended to be a drop in. I bought a Boyds Pro Varmint stock for a CZ 457 which dropped right in with no fitting. If you survey enough Boyds customers, you will find a few who had to do some minor fitting but most of the reviews and anecdotal reports I have read are positive. Like any machined product, there could be some part to part variation.

I didn't find any fitting to be required with my Mark II in a Boyds Pro Varmint stock.
