What is "Accurate"

For my 110 series rifle I am a happy camper if they will shoot between 1/2-3/4 MOA groups consistently. For my B22 FV-SR it will shoot 3/4 to 1 inch groups at 50 yards with a couple different types of ammo. Is that accurate for a rimfire? I have tried multiple types of ammo but Agulia High Velocity and CCI mini mags seem to be the best out of it. Its not a fan of CCI standard velocity ( 1 to 1 1/2 inch groups). So group opinion... What is "Accurate"?

For rimfire, Anything better than 1 moa is good accuracy for a factory gun. If shooting a high end "custom", like a Vudoo, it would shrink to 1/2 moa with good ammo to be considered good accuracy.

For centerfire, anything below 1 moa is good accuracy for factory guns. For customs, most builders have an accuracy guarantee. Most tend to say 1/2 moa at any yardage with good ammo.

Depends on what your trying to hit.
I’ve always been happy with MOA.
Getting 1/2 MOA gets expensive or can.

If you want accuracy out of a rimfire, get yourself a 17HMR. My Savage 93R17 GLV will shoot about 1/2" groups at 50yds. And at 100yds it'll be about 1-1/4", and that's partly due to the fact that the wind can and does move the bullet around.

The problem with rimfire is that you can't control the consistency or quality of the ammunition so getting consistent accuracy is always a challenge. That said, for 22LR if it will group around 1/2" most of the time with its preferred ammo I consider it an accurate rifle.

I noticed both loads you mentioned are high velocity loads. Best accuracy with a rimfire is almost always achieved with standard velocity loads (around 1050fps).

150 Yards, sunny and almost windless day with factory CCI 40gr 22 WMR shooting prone with a Savage 93. If I do my part, my MKII 22lr will shoot slightly tighter groups than this at 50 yards, and roughly the same at 100 if I'm at an indoor range.
