Savage Model 99

I have a Savage model 99, no letter after the 99. It is a 308. Im trying to figure out the date on this firearm. SN- 94656x. any help would be great. I tried to check the little circle near the lever. All I can read is the number 6. Its like weak stamp.Only half is there.

I can't read the letter in the circle. There is a 6,but the circle is only half stamped.
