    7mm RM to 6.5PRC?

Has anyone here converted a belted mag to a 6.5PRC and, if so, did you have to make any mod to the action, mag follower or feed lips?

Beginning to wonder if a .264WM would make more sense and avoid extra costs.

You know the rim Dia. on both cases so, does Savage make a rifle chambered in 6.5 prc ?? so you could just change bolt heads.
What, is your intended use for a 6.5 PRC chambered rifle ? If it's for hunting then go with the 264 WM with today's new powders, and heavier bullets , a just for hunting rifle should last you a life time.

Rim diametere is the same, so not a concern. Possible problems due to fatter cartridge further along the length requiring changes to the mag follower or feed lips is the concern.

LAst thing I want to do is pay a 'smith to fix problems tht could be avoided. .264MW looking more and more likely.
