    chassis buttstocks

    does anyone else feel like the the area where the grip and stock meet are too close. i cant seem to find a comfortable stock. does anyone feel the same. what stock are you using. i currently have a MDT.

    i have a ORYX chassis for my Savage 6 creedmoor,wish i had one on my other 3 Savages

    MDT chassis that comes from the factory on the 10 BA Stealth. I like it and don't have any issues with the grip configuration. It's the only chassis I have experience with so I don't know any better.

    Seems to me that any item that fits into/onto something would be very close by nature IE... the area where my arm and my body meet is too close.

    Possibly you mean the length of the butt stock is too short and is to compact when my hand is on the grip?

    i mean the area between my thumb and trigger finger. unless its because im used to traditional hunting stocks where nothing hits the top of my hand?? or maybe my hands are to big lol

    Which MDT ?? The HS3's (no longer sold) Have plenty of room
    in the hand grip area, and I have big hands. They also use the
    standard AR stock system leaving more room. If the stock is
    fixed, space the butt plate out a full 2" and move in a little at a
    time until it feels right for you, your cheek, and your hand. Once
    that's done, check the position of your scope.....Also, I may add
    is, the grip angle. I do prefer a much straighter angle which moves
    my hand down giving me a straight pull on the trigger.
