    Mark II bolt problem

I have a new Savage MK II I believe it is the longer E receiver and when closing the bolt without a round it stops about a quarter inch from full closing and I have to give it a good push to close. Anyone have any thoughts on what could be wrong ? It is the stainless bull barrrel with thumb hole stock.

Is the magazine getting in the way?

Sounds like a call to Savage is in order.

There was a piece broken out of the guide pin that was causeing the problems. I put in a new guide pin and no more problems
