Hi all. I'm an AF Veteran, have been shooting since i was a tyke. I'm an acft electrician, machinist, fixer of all things and an avid reloader Just picked up my first Savage , an ole 99e in .300 Savage. This make/model is the first rifle I ever shot above a .22 and first rifle I ever deer hunted with about 40yrs ago. I've remembered and dreamed of that rifle ever since. This one I found is a bad shape/no wood survivor I will be restoring it to one day hunt with again. Even if it won't "shoot" and ends up being a wall-hanger, I'll still love it. Learning everything I can about it and that's why I found this forum!
