Mark II BTV - Accutrigger WITH vs Without the blade and spring.

Hi guys. I just got this rifle over a week ago. I shot it at my range a few times, and I feel like the trigger weight could come down a bit.

I've dis-assembled the trigger group, cleaned everything up inside, and saw that the actual trigger spring at the rear of the action, was already threaded as low as it can go.

I'll likely use a 10-24 X 3/4 bolt to take up the space in the threads (in place of the narrow portion of the trigger spring that sits inside it), grind the threads off, and fit a weaker spring over the ground down top portion of the screw into a cylinder) to allow the spring to glide over it.

But, do I actually NEED the accu-trigger blade to re-assemble the trigger group, and have it work as intended?

Or does removing it not engage the sear properly?

    Thanks

Removing the blade will just make it a standard old trigger (no safety features) like the triggers found on most guns made before 2003.
