    Recoil depends on the caliber.
The 10 LEs that I am familiar with have a very good rear butt pad that absorbs a lot of recoil.
My son and a range buddy have 10 LEs in .223 and the recoil it almost non-existent.
I have two .308 model 10 LEs about 5 years apart in age and they both came with the LE/Target Accu-trigger as did the .223s.
They shoot very accurately, both averaging between 0.452 and 0.455 for 5-round groups.
The older 10 LE .308 has over 10,000 rounds down range and got a new barrel at 6,500 rounds.
The newer 10 LE .308, that came with an Accu-stock, has more than 4,000 rounds down range.

I have a 10T-SR, made for Cabela's by Savage, in 6.5mm Creedmoor that averages 0.383 for 5-round groups at 100 yards.

I would buy another Model 10 LE without any reservations.

a guy at our club bought it and fired 100 rounds through it and don't like it much so he is selling it. He paid 1000 and wants 900. Is that a reasonable deal ?
