I acquired my first Savage Firearm in a trade not long ago.
It was a Savage 110H in .243 Winchester. It came topped with an antique Valor Scope with a fixed 6x34 setup.
Its actually quite accurate and clear and I have managed a best grouping of 0.444” using Federal 100gr soft points

i took the chance I had to used this beat up gun to learn to refinish and glassbed the action, as well as free float the barrel. That did make a difference as my groups shrank from 1.5-3” to .5-1.5” with the same various types of ammo.

All in in all I am impressed with this gun!
