Can't answer your question as I don't own one, but a cheap dial caliper (also called a vernier caliper) is a good thing to have handy for measuring such things.

I have an a22 fv sr and was wanting to add something along the lines of a Kidd muzzle brake/compensator like I have on my ruger precision rimfire. The thread protector on the a22 don't fit real flush or look good at all is my reason. The a22 fvsr barrel don't seem to as fat as the mark ii fvsr or ruger. On the savage site it list the a22 fvsr as heavy and medium depending on wether you pull up the black version or the overwatch. Just hoping someone out there might know. Thanks
