Savage 12 BVSS in XLR Element Chassis

    Hello folks,

I am curious if I can utilize a Single-Shot loading ramp with the above combo?

I plan to purchase from SSS.

If anyone has real-world feedback I would love to hear it.

    - Thanks

    Andrew

Something like this will do you...

An XLR chassis takes AICS patterned magazines. The SSS looks like its for factory Savage magazines.

I've actually made a single shot follower for my RPR, but the idea would work for any magazine. I took some PVC (1.25") pipe and cut out a section that would fit into the magazine over the follower. It's squared off in the back and rounded toward the tip and you have to mess around with it a little bit to fit your magazine, but the one I made works perfectly and it simple to reverse the procedure.
