Hey all, I picked up an unfired 116 in 30-06 for a song and I am rebarreling it to 6.5-06. It is going to be a long rang paper puncher and back-up hunting rig (my primary is a custom Tikka in 7mm-08AI). I plan on putting CDI bottom metal on it.
I really don't want to spend $700 on a McMillan or Manners and the only B&C stock that is inletted for the centerfeed is the sporter style, so it is out too as I would like it to have a higher comb and a more vertical grip. No chassis for me either.
So, other than Boyd's are there any other options?
