    speaking of bbl nuts....

on so my 10 t shoots so well , that i want to thread the muzzle.
it has a round bbl nut. the last one did not loosen. i used an action wrench
and a bbl vise to take it apart. i do not see that as reasonable for reassembly
using a head space gauge while torquing.
    and suggestions ?
    a notched nut ?

Absolutely! I would replace the barrel nut & recoil lug regardless! Swapping the stamped & cast parts for solid bar stock machined to exacting specs is a no brainer to me. And reassembly & torquing to exacting specs will be easier as well. Kills two birds with one stone.
