Where do you get your nuts and lugs from and why? Are some after market ones better then others, if so which ones.

I know a few places to get them, just asking if some out there are machined better then others? If anyone has a preference.
Dose northland shooters supply produce these?
I use the PTG. At first I chose them because they were the only one to use alloy steel in the nuts & lugs. (Didn’t want stainless.) Now I choose them because of quality machining.
any thoughts on the ones sold by E Arther Brown?

Who else should some one be looking at...
EGW also makes them. Their machining is top notch. I don't think there is any reason to think that if choosing from PTG, NSS, or EGW you would come out a loser. They all make very quality products. You have multiple good options to choose from, no need to keep digging. Just buy one and rest assured that the lug will not be what's holding you back.
I've never bought anything EABCO branded.

what is the difference in tapered vs straight parallel lugs?
how does thickness come into all this as there are a variety of thickness?
Get the thickest?
On the left is the Tapered lug, and on the right the Straight. Pretty self explanatory. Far as thickness, go with the 1/4”. You don’t need to worry about any thicker. Just makes it more difficult to fit.
None! The thinking is the thicker the lug, obviously the stiffer it is! But I can’t see getting thicker than .250”....even for the ultra magnums. And parallel or straight is a difference for easier fitment/bedding issues. The reason you see see so many flavors is because of the buyers market! If someone says they “need” it, a manufacture will make it!
I would stick with .250” thick, and go with whichever shape is most appealing to your eye. Won’t make a bill a beans difference performance wise.
ya seems crazy that there are so many different types. Design wise the looks of the tapered one seems like it would be stiffer in the bending direction.
Now to go order one.
Kinda surprised no one makes a trued lug for the accu-stock models.
The lugs are shaped a little differently, they are also little shorter if I am not mistaken.
I found this thread with google, there is a picture partway down showing the difference.

Welcome to gunsmithing gentlemen. Yes, the world of building guns is all about fitting parts. They made the lug fit the stock, whereas most stock f the time you fit the stock to the lug. Fact is ANY mod10 lug with “fit” the barreled action with an accustock. Just you would need to clearance/bed the stock or modify the lug. (Have done both)
Build a few 1911’s and I promise you won’t ever complain about fitting rifle parts again! LOL!
