    Cdi bottom metal ++

    Just put the cdi bottom metal on my model 12 lrp. I have to say it is top notch. Savage should just do this from the factory, get rid of their mags and go to the acis mags.

    Savage already has their own AICS bottom metal that comes standard on the 110 Tactical, 110 Scout, and IIRC the DBM models in .338 Lapua Mag.

    Having just bought a 110 tactical, I will say I like the factory savage bottom metal better. I have two others with CDI bottom metal and my only complaints is that is is "inletted" up into the stock meaning it is not flush with the bottom of the stock. Also it is kinda "thin" in that it is just flat and has no "well" to it to help guide and hold the mag.
    Now it still goes in and locks into place no problem, it is just not as easy to use as the factory savage one.
