Front sight for a cut down 24 22WMR/20ga?

I recently rescued a old deluxe model 24 that had been cut down to a little over 18”. The problem is it has no sights! I have purchased an old peep sight that should work once it is drilled & tapped but I’m not sure what to do about a new front sight. Does anyone have a suggestion?

    There's a lot of different models. https://www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-man...shotgun-combos

I think the front sight on that one was drilled and tapped.

Might be easier to install a red dot!

Thanks For the reply! Do you think I could solder that front sight on?

Soldering is a posibility but it would ruin the blue in that area. If you have to have it D&T'ed for the peep, have the gunsmith install the front sight, too.
