    Savage MK II Stock Modification

The club that I coach at has about 25 MKI and MK II Savage rifles that we use to train junior precision shooters. Really like the accuracy, don't like the lack of adjustability. No handstop rail, no adjustable butt plate or cheekpiece, no sight risers. So instead of looking at new stocks we partnered up with a 3d printer expert and started designing. Below is what we came up with to make it more adjustable and provide a better fit.Would be great to hear what you think.

I am no expert by any means but, I think you've done a good job. Without handling one it is hard to speak of any "hits and misses" but, it looks good. And as long as you are satisfied with it and it meets your wants and needs then, that's all that truly matters.
