Hello,

I've decided I really want a Savage 1907 or a 1917 for a CC piece to change things up a bit. The 1917 fits my hand better, and I like the .380 better than the .32ACP. A local shop has both for sale, the .380 (1917) is near mint with two .32's (1907) worse for wear but one has great rifling and still decent shape.

I can find things like the recoil springs for the .32 all over the place, but no such luck for the .380. Am I missing anywhere? I've checked all of the auction places, the usual suspect websites, and googled this to death but still cannot find anything. I want to shoot the thing a good bit and since the thing would be around 100 years old i'd really rather have a new spring in there to avoid premature wear since the spring has probably set some.

If I can't get a new recoil spring I guess I'll have to go with the .32.

Thanks in advance.
