Are magazine followers and springs really that hard to find?

I dug out a 112bvss ive had since 2000 a few weeks back. Apparently the idiot who had her appart last (me) misplaced the follower and spring. Is there anyplace to find one thats in stock?

Yep that once endless supply of parts for the old flatbacks are getting a good bit harder to find. On the bright side at least you've got the mag box, as a lot of the tabs got broken off when folks were not removing/ installing them correctly.
You might have to try and find a whole staggered feed mag, maybe from a detachable mag, and cannibalize it. Or you could possibly find a generic mag spring or old military surplus setup and get it to work. (maybe something like this?? https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/704590 ) Best case scenario someone here has one in a parts box they'll part with.
    Good luck.

I find Savage Customer Service has always had parts in stock at the cheapest prices. Give them a call.
Banning a gun will not solve what is a mental health crisis inflamed by incendiary rhetoric on social and television media. The first amendment in this case is less precious and more likely the causal factor than the second amendment.

They show one in stock, but I have no idea if it is what you are looking for from the description.
