The correct way to install the magazine is pushing the rear in first, then tipping the front until it catches.
Hello! I bought a Axis XP .270win Bolt Action rifle and am having some difficulty with the magazine. If I don't put it in in a specific way the rear doesen't get fully inserted which makes the magazine gets stuck, so I have to press the rear part until it clicks and then I can remove the magazine. Is there any kind of upgraded magazine that fits easier and isn't so finnicky?

Thanks for the help! I greatly appreciate it!
CDI precision gun works can fix you up with a complete bottom metal system
Can’t you just install some bottom metal to allow for a standardized magazine system to work?
like the AICS system. It comes in all action lengths and that opens you up for more magazine options.
Just a thought.
Yes you can but they aren't cheap.
You have to consider in this case, if you change magazine systems, you also have to change the stock.
