    Hello, I'm the New-Old guy

I have an interest in the old vintage firearms from most all manufacturers but my first firearm was an old TENITE Stocked Over/Under .22 LR over a 410 shotgun. (These were made during or following WWII, the reason for the TENITE, I'm told) The selector on the side determined which you shot, up for the .22, down for the 410. Y'all know the one. I've probably outlived my usefulness but I'm able to see a little bit so I shoot a revolver & semi-auto some and enjoy both handguns but am a revolver shooter first. The Semi-auto wasn't in use during my younger years and I had some difficulty getting used to them and they remain more difficult for me to score well with. Enough of my rambling, thanks for allowing me to become a part of this forum. I shall have questions for those of you who are more familiar with the early products from Savage/Stevens.

Welcome to the forum and the Savageshooters family. years ago, maybe 35 or so I picked up a savage that was 22 on top and 20 gauge on the bottom made in stainless. I kept it in the truck for many years, I have never seen another one.
