Is a Precision Target Action a model 10?

Wondering if anyone has installed a 338 Lapua bolt face in a PTA?

The PTA is a short action Model 12. The bolt head would need to be made from a long action 338 Bolt head. You would need to pull the bolt out to load it. Pull the bolt out to remove fired brass. I'm not sure the 400 series SS action is as strong as the heat treated Chrome-Moly action that was designed for that round.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
